IN THE MATTER OF Honoring Alejandra Sanchez-Ezidro for Her Dedicated Service to Contra Costa County.


WHEREAS, Alejandra Sanchez-Ezidro has served with dedication, professionalism, and integrity as District Representative for Contra Costa County Supervisor Ken Carlson since January 2023; and
WHEREAS, during her tenure, Alejandra has demonstrated unwavering commitment to public service, helping to advance the priorities of District IV and improve the quality of life for residents throughout Contra Costa County; and
WHEREAS, Alejandra has played a vital role in engaging with the community, coordinating outreach efforts, and ensuring that constituent concerns were heard, addressed, and followed up on with care and diligence; and
WHEREAS, her work has encompassed a wide range of issues, including public safety and equity, where her insight and attention to detail made her an invaluable member of the Supervisor's team; and
WHEREAS, Alejandra was the visionary behind hosting the first-ever naturalization ceremony at the Contra Costa County Administration Building in 2024, a powerful and symbolic event that celebrated new citizens in the heart of local government and reinforced the County's commitment to inclusion and civic engagement; and
