RECOMMENDATIONS:
ADOPT Resolution ratifying the prior decision of the Public Works Director, or designee, to fully close all of Rolph Avenue, between Loring Avenue and Pomona Street, on July 19, 2026, 11:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m., for the purpose of hosting the 18th Annual Sugartown Festival, Crockett area. (District V)
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.
BACKGROUND:
The Crockett Chamber of Commerce has requested a road closure for the annual Sugar Town Festival to maintain traffic and pedestrian safety. The Chamber must comply with all permit conditions set by the Public Works Director, or designee, before and during the road closure.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The Crockett Chamber of Commerce will not have Board approval for completed road closure
