Report Title: Rescind Board action which pertained to an Interagency Agreement with Contra Costa County Fire Protection District and Authorize new Interagency Agreement

RECOMMENDATIONS:
RESCIND prior Board action of June 10, 2025 (C.118) which approved and authorized the Interim Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County Interagency Agreement # 74-730 with Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, formed under the laws of the State of California, in an amount not to exceed $2,400,000 to provide dispatching services for the Anyone, Anywhere, Anytime Crisis Response Program to facilitate services for County residents experiencing behavioral health crises for the period June 1, 2025 through May 31, 2028; and
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County Interagency Agreement #74-730 with Contra Costa County Fire Protection District (CCCFPD), formed under the laws of the state of California, in an amount not to exceed $2,400,000 to provide dispatching services through the Contra Costa Regional Fire Communications Center for County's Anyone, Anywhere, Anytime (A3) Crisis Response Program to facilitate services for County residents experiencing behavioral health crises for the period June 1, 2025 through May 31, 2028.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this Interagency Agreement will result in contractual expenditures of up to $2,400,000 over a three-year period and is funded 100% by Measure X funds.
BACKGROUND:
The County's A3 Crisis Response Program was launched in 2022 to address the needs of vulnerable County residents experiencing behavioral health crises when calling for emergency or non-emergency services.
