BACKGROUND:

Fleet ISF Unit Nos. 3643, 3644, 3645, 3657, and 3658 have been owned by the Fleet Internal Services Fund and utilized by Health Services for the Hazardous Materials Program. Effective July 1, 2026, the Hazardous Materials Program is transitioning to the Contra Costa Fire Protection District. The vehicles continue to be needed for the program.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The vehicles would remain Internal Service Fund assets, and Contra Costa Fire Protection District would need to purchase new vehicles.
