RECOMMENDATIONS:
ADOPT a resolution recognizing Henry Hussey for 35 years of service to Contra Costa County, as recommended by the Public Works Director.

IN THE MATTER OF the contributions of Henry Hussey for his 35 years of service to Contra Costa County

WHEREAS, Henry Hussey began his career with Contra Costa County at the Public Works Department on July 16, 1990, as an Engineering Technician - Entry Level, reporting to the Maintenance Division; and

WHEREAS, in July 1991, Henry was recognized as one of a group of employees who participated in the Public Works Employee Appreciation Night at an Oakland Athletics baseball game; and

WHEREAS, in January 1993, Henry was assigned to the Construction Division to work in the Department's Materials & Testing Laboratory; and

WHEREAS, in January 1995, Henry rotated to the Design Division; and

WHERAS, in 1996, Henry was promoted to the Engineering Technician - Journey Level; and

WHEREAS, in August 1996, Henry received an Award of Excellence for his work on the Bay Point Slide Repair project; and

WHEREAS, in February 1998, Henry was promoted to Engineering Technician - Senior Level; and

WHEREAS, in June 1998, Henry received an Award for Excellence for his work on the Hilltop Drive Pedestrian Path-Phase 2; and

WHEREAS, in December 1998, Henry received an Award of Excellence for being an invaluable CAD resource to the Department and an Award of Excellence as part of the team that worked on the Marsh Creek Road Alignment Study; and

WHEREAS, in May of 2000, Henry rotated to the Construct...
