RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Clerk-Recorder to issue a refund of overpayment of documentary transfer tax totaling $29.70 to eRecording Partners Network.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The recommendation will result in a reduction of $29.70 from the County General Fund for the 2026-2027 fiscal year.
BACKGROUND:
The County Clerk-Recorder received an overpayment of documentary transfer tax due to a scrivener error on the Grant Deed that the title company recorded. The payment will be distributed to the following party in the amount listed below:
