Report Title: Agreement for Training Sites in the City of Antioch for November 4, 2025 Statewide Special Election.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Clerk-Recorder, or designee, to execute a contract with the City of Antioch to rent space at the Antioch Community Center for Pollworker Training for the November 4, 2025 Statewide Special Election.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
BACKGROUND:
The Elections Division of the Clerk-Recorder’s office will provide pollworker training for the November 4, 2025 Statewide Special Election. Sites that will be utilized include the Antioch Community Center. The Facility Rental Application for this site contains an indemnification and hold harmless provision, whereby the County agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Antioch for use of the site as a training location. For training, the agreement provides the County with the use of the site on October 17, October 20, and October 22, 2025.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The Elections Office will not be able to use this site as a training location.
