Report Title:                     Execute a Purchase Order Amendment with Siteimprove, Inc.

Recommendation of the County Administrator Recommendation of Board Committee

RECOMMENDATIONS:

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Chief Information Officer, to execute a purchase order amendment with Siteimprove, Inc. to increase the payment limit by $23,000 to $47,700, subject to Siteimprove’s Master Subscription Agreement, and extend the term to January 6, 2027, and for annual periods thereafter.

FISCAL IMPACT:

The cost of this product is included in the department’s FY 24-25 budget (100% User Departments).

BACKGROUND:

Siteimprove, Inc. provides software that enhances website accessibility, analytics, and quality assurance for the County’s website (contracosta.ca.gov). The software identifies issues such as broken links, misspellings, and images missing alt attributes, and includes tools to support overall site quality and accessibility improvements.

The County currently has Purchase Order No. 031549 for these services, effective January 7, 2025, through January 6, 2026, originally approved by the Board on December 3, 2024. This amendment request is to adjust the service level to reflect actual usage.

Siteimprove’s Master Subscription Agreement obligates the county to hold Siteimprove harmless from any claims arising from the performance of the agreement.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The County will not have access to software that improves the quality of the County website (contracosta.ca.gov).
