Report Title: Approve and Authorize to fully close a portion of Edgecroft Road on March 9, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., for the purpose of overhead utility work, including pole replacement, Kensington area.
?Recommendation of the County Administrator ? Recommendation of Board Committee

RECOMMENDATIONS:
ADOPT Resolution approving and authorizing the Public Works Director, or designee, to fully close a portion of Edgecroft Road, between 800 Coventry Road and 61 Edgecroft Road, on March 9, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., for the purpose of performing overhead utility work, including pole replacement, Kensington area. (District I)

FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:
Due to the narrow road width of Edgecroft Road at the work site, Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) has requested the road closure to perform overhead work on an existing utility pole. There is insufficient road width to setup and operate boom trucks and safely maintain through traffic. Applicant shall follow guidelines set forth by the Public Works Department. This request was previously approved by the Board of Supervisors on January 20, 2026, and in Resolution No. 2026-13. The applicant has submitted a new request due to scheduling conflict.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Applicant will be unable to close the road to complete planned work.
