Report Title: Prohibit parking at all times on a portion of San Pablo Dam Road, El Sobrante Area.
Recommendation: Recommendation of the County Administrator
RECOMMENDATIONS:
ADOPT Traffic Resolution No. 2026/4561 to prohibit stopping, standing, or parking at all times on the south side of San Pablo Dam Road (Road No. 0961D), beginning at Leisure Lane (Private) and extending westerly a distance of 240 feet to Martins Lane (Private), as recommended by the Public Works Director, El Sobrante area. (District 1)
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.
BACKGROUND:
The Transportation Engineering Division of the Public Works Department received an inquiry regarding sight lines at Leisure Lane and San Pablo Dam Road. Transportation Engineering Staff conducted a site visit and determined that restricted parking at this location would improve sight lines. If adopted, the area will be designated as no parking and subsequently improve sight lines in the close proximity to the driveways at/near Leisure Lane.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Parking will remain unrestricted at this location.
