RECOMMENDATIONS:

 

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute an agreement on behalf of the County with Key Code Media, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $3,724 to provide high-performance high-capacity shared media server support with asset management for storing video, photo, and audio files from March 16, 2024 through February 28, 2025.

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

 

Approval of this contract will result in annual contractual service expenditures up to $3,724 and will be funded by 100% franchise fees. (100% FRANCHISE FEES)

 

 

BACKGROUND:

 

Key Code Media, Inc., provides high-performance high-capacity shared media server support with asset management for storing video, photo, and audio files. This agreement includes mutual indemnification to hold harmless both parties for any claims arising out of the performance of this contract.

 

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

 

Without approval of this contract by the Board of Supervisors, Contra Costa County will lose technical support for a high-performance high-capacity shared media server providing asset management for storing video, photo, and audio files.
