RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent or designee to execute, on behalf of the District Attorney, a purchase order and related license agreement with Presidio Networked Solutions Group, LLC in an amount not to exceed $1,096 for a cloud-based management and security tool for mobile devices and endpoints across multiple platforms, for the period August 15, 2025 through August 14, 2028.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this action will result in expenditures up to $1,096 which have been included in the Department’s FY 25-26 Budget.
BACKGROUND:
The District Attorney’s Office uses a cloud-based management and security tool for mobile devices and endpoints across multiple platforms from Presidio Networked Solutions Group, LLC to secure departmental devices to ensure compliance, data protection and secure access for criminal justice data.
Approval of the purchase order and related Software License Agreement will allow the District Attorney’s Office to continue using this tool in support of securely accessing, managing and maintaining compliance for criminal justice data in the District Attorney’s Office. This Software License Agreement includes limitation of liability and indemnification under which the County agrees to hold Presidio Networked Solutions Group, LLC harmless from any claims arising out of the performance under this agreement.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Without executing the purchase order and related Software License Agreement with Presidio Networked Solutions Group, LLC, the District Attorney’s Office cannot continue to securely access, manage and maintain compliance for criminal justice data on mobile devices and endpoints across multiple platforms.
