Food Bank of Contra Costa
Solano on their 50th Anniversary
IN CONTRA COSTA COUNTY

Whereas, the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano has been a critical partner of our County and a vital force in providing hunger relief and serving communities in Contra Costa and Solano counties for the past 50 years; and
Whereas, since its founding in 1975, the Food Bank has worked tirelessly to combat food insecurity, providing nutritious food to those in need, regardless of race, background, or situation; and
Whereas, the Food Bank has distributed millions of pounds of food each year, assisting thousands of individuals and families in the community through a network of food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and direct programs; and
Whereas, the Food Bank has continually expanded its services, programs, and partnerships to address the ever-growing need for food assistance in the region, ensuring that no one in Contra Costa and Solano counties goes hungry; and
