Report Title: Amendment #23-700-2 to Software and Services Agreement with Healthcare Source HR, Inc.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County Amendment No. 2 (#23-700-2) with Healthcare Source HR, Inc., a corporation, effective March 1, 2024, to amend Software and Services Agreement #23-700 (as amended by #23-700-1), to increase the payment limit by $240,000, from $401,895 to a new payment limit of $641,895 and extend the termination date to March 1, 2026, and for successive (1) year terms thereafter for additional software licenses for NetLearning for Contra Costa Health (CCH).
FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this amendment will result in additional annual expenditures of up to $240,000 and will be funded as budgeted by the department in FY 2024-26, by 100% Hospital Enterprise Fund I revenues.
BACKGROUND:
Healthcare Source HR, Inc. provides CCH continuing medical education software. Healthcare Source HR, Inc.'s NetLearning and Premium eLearning library meet the learning and development needs of CCH staff by providing skill assessment and e-learning for medical staff orientation and annual competency recertification assessments. The NetCompetency module allows CCH access to, assess, record, track, and report staff competencies through validation, including direct observation, demonstration, verbalization, and employee-provided evidence. NetCompetency provides hands-on skills assessment and a dictionary of about 1500 healthcare competencies with over 8700 skills.
