Recommendation: Recommendation of the County Administrator
RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPOINT Avita Behari to the District 5 seat on the Family and Children’s Trust Committee (FACT), with a term ending September 30, 2027, as recommended by Supervisor Scales-Preston.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
BACKGROUND:
The commission works to support early childhood development through a strategic plan developed pursuant to the California Children and Families First Act of 1998.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The suggested appointee will not be able to serve on the FACT, which could impact the body’s ability to achieve quorum and conduct business.
