RECOMMENDATIONS:
ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 26563 to add 12 Eligibility Worker II (X0SA) (represented) position at Salary Plan and Grade 255-1384 ($6,482-$7,879), three (3) Clerk-Experienced Level (JWXB) (represented) positions at Salary Plan and Grade 3RH-0750 ($4,423-$5,488), one (1) Clerk-Senior Level (JWXC) (represented) position at Salary Plan and Grade 3RX-1033 ($4,888-$6,242), and two (2) Eligibility Worker Supervisor (XHHA) (represented) position at Salary Plan and Grade KKX-1506 ($7,297-$9,319), to the Employment and Human Services Department's Workforce Services Bureau.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this item will result in a cost increase of $1,478,244 annually to add 12 Eligibility Worker II positions, and will be funded by 50% Federal and 50% State funds; $252,210 annually to add 3 Clerk-Experienced Level positions, and will be funded by 12% County, 40% Federal, and 48% State funds; $92,895 annually to add 1 Clerk-Senior Level position, and will be funded by 12% County, 40% Federal, and 48% State funds; $277,354 annually to add 2 Eligibility Worker Supervisor positions, and will be funded by 50% Federal and 50% State funds.
BACKGROUND:
These positions are immediately needed to support and address the increased workload and operational demands in the Medi-Cal Intake/Renewal Unit.
