RECOMMENDATIONS:
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County a Vizient Member Networks Statement of Work (SOW) with Vizient, Inc., a corporation, effective June 1, 2024, and increase the payment limit of Contract #76-789 (as amended by 76-789-1 and 76-789-2), by $375,000, from $499,040 to a new payment limit of $874,040 for member network services for Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) with no change in the term October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2027.

FISCAL IMPACT:
Approval of this action will result in additional annual expenditures of up to $375,000 and will be funded 50% by savings realized through the Vizient group purchasing agreement and 50% Hospital Enterprise Fund I revenues.

BACKGROUND:
Vizient, Inc., provides expertise, analytics and advisory services through solutions and services that improve the delivery of high-value care by aligning cost, quality, and performance. This SOW meets the needs of Contra Costa Health Services by providing member network services for CCRMC.

The Vizient Member Networks SOW will allow CCRMC executive staff access to the Vizient Member Networks services for peer groups and executive boards, including performance solutions with expert data and analytic insights to decrease cost and elevate patient quality of care and market performance. Access also includes meetings and a digital community platform with group discussion forums and resources. Per the terms of the SOW, the initial term will commence on the effective date and continue for thirty-six (36) months.
