Alamo Police Consolidation - LAFCo Meeting on October 14, 2026
The Contra Costa Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCo) is reviewing an application to consolidate Alamo’s fractured police service districts into a single, community-wide Alamo Police District. The goal is to provide consistent, enhanced Sheriff deputy coverage across all of Alamo rather than varying levels on localized service.
Utility Box
Contra Costa County’s Utility Box Art Program offers a great opportunity to transform local streetscapes by wrapping county-owned utility boxes with vibrant, community-focused artwork. As part of this effort in Alamo, there is a suggestion to feature historical photos of Alamo on the local boxes.
