Report Title:                     Report on the status of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Public Housing Agency Recovery and Sustainability Initiative

Recommendation:  Recommendation of Board Committee

 

RECOMMENDATIONS:

CONSIDER accepting a report on the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Public Housing Agency Recovery and Sustainability (PHARS) Initiative.

 

BACKGROUND:

The HUD PHARS Independent Assessment team visited the Housing Authority (HACCC) on August 25th and 26th. Based on the exit interview, the visit went well and we should have no findings.

 

Staff will discuss the visit with the Board at the September 15, 2026, meeting.
