RECOMMENDATIONS:
ADOPT Resolution approving and authorizing the Public Works Director, or designee, to fully close a portion of Cambridge Avenue, between 207 Cambridge Avenue and 223 Cambridge Avenue, on July 20, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. through 5:30 p.m., for the purpose of performing overhead utility work, Kensington area. (District I)
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.
BACKGROUND:
Due to the narrow road width of Cambridge Avenue at the work site, Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) has requested the road closure to perform the overhead utility work. There is insufficient road width to setup and operate boom trucks and safely maintain through traffic. Applicant shall follow guidelines set forth by the Public Works Department.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Applicant will be unable to close the road to complete planned the overhead utility work.
