1. Review request of HOA to purchase Flock cameras
HOA declines to purchase Flock cameras. Guests Cox and Harding from HOA board explain this request from the chief was voted down as HOA feels privacy issues arising from Flock cameras are a concern and the current camera setup is adequate. Melissa cited two incidents that were resolved with the existing cameras. Chief Dickerson explained that the existing camera system requires retrieval which can be hours to days while Flock is real time and much more useful. HOA is open to a formal request from the P2A to reconsider.
2. Review request of HOA for short-term funding
HOA Board members Cox and Harding voice concerns that other HOAs are not being asked to contribute but that an allocation has been discussed to support a parcel tax initiative.
3. P2A Budget projections
-Chief Dickerson reviewed the budget projections. staffing adjustments and recommends a future Parcel Tax increase amount.
-With current staff levels, deficit will require staff cut in 2027-2028 fiscal year and two staff cut in 2028-2029.
