Jim called the workgroup to action with the goal of finalizing survey next meeting.

11:10 Program Updates and Announcements:

Tri Delta (Deanna Perry): Changing Mobility of Demand Program by looking to adjust the max

number of rides to maximize grant. Will lower to 20 rides starting 8/1/24.

County Connections (Rosa Noya): Life Program is in full swing since 7/1/24 offering fair

stipends for ADA paratransit users in Central County. Continuing the 1 Seat Regional Ride

Program and hoping to expand.

LaMorinda Spirit Van: No updates this meeting. Last update: Awarded new mini-van.

LaMorinda takes passengers out to shop, run errands, etc.

WestCat: No updates this meeting. Last update: Also rolling out Life Program. So far only one

application did not qualify. Collaboration with Tri Delta and County Connection.

Mobility Matters (Elaine Welch): No updates this meeting. Last update: Initially 4 paid drivers

when volunteers cannot cover the rides. Trying to increase driver force. 3 interviews coming up.

Working on new marketing materials to reach out to volunteers, seniors, and veterans. Way to

Go Contra Costa material to be given to Dept. of Emergency Services by Mid-May and shuld be

ready to disseminate.

West Contra Costa Transit Authority, Coire Reilly: No updates this meeting.

City of Lafayette, Rikk Jester: No updates this meeting. Last update: Awarded 5310-Enhanced

Mobility of Senior Grant.

East Contra Costa Transit Authority (Tri Delta Transit): No updates this meeting. Last update:

One hundred and forty-one participants in means-based fare. Participants receive three booklets

of tickets every three months. Income verification needed from participants.
