This is a Special Meeting of the Commission for Women and Girls  
Agenda Items: Items may be taken out of order based on the business of the day and preference of the  
Committee.

6. Discussion: Commission Governance, Meeting Procedures, and Bylaw Alignment  
Description: Discussion of Commission governance practices, including meeting procedures, adherence  
to bylaws, attendance and participation standards, agenda development, and communication processes.  
The Commission may identify areas requiring clarification and provide direction for establishing  
consistent procedures moving forward.  
7. Action: Direction on Governance Process Improvements  
Description: Consideration of adopting standing rules to standardize governance and bylaw  
implementation (Commission procedures, including documentation of decisions, onboarding practices,  
and alignment with County policies and the Brown Act).  
8. Adjourn  
Commissioner Acosta will be attending virtually from Home Location for ADA Leave.

Martinez CA, during normal business hours. Staff reports related to items on the agenda are also  
meeting may be paused while a fix is attempted. If the connection is not reestablished, the committee  
will continue the meeting in person without remote access. Public comment may be submitted via  
electronic mail on agenda items at least one full work day prior to the published meeting time.
