The commissioners present voted to approve the December 12, 2024 Hazardous Materials Commission  
meeting minutes.

The commissioners present received a director's report on the Hazardous Materials Programs.  
The commissioners present received a report on the Hazardous Materials Commission  
Operations Committee.

The commissioners present received a report on the Hazardous Materials Commission Planning  
and Policy Development Committee.  
OLD BUSINESS  
The commissioners present discussed the 2025 Hazardous Materials Commission Priorities and  
developed a plan of action for each committee and the full commission.

The commissioners present discussed the commission chair elections and voted to approve a  
commission chair and vice chair for 2025.

The commissioners present discussed the AIA pipeline safety website and their interest in  
receiving a presentation on this topic in the future.

The commissioners present reviewed the Contra Costa County Hazardous Materials Incident  
Notification Policy and discussed all changes that occurred on January 15, 2025.

The 2025 student interns introduced themselves and discussed potential research project topics  
with the commissioners present.  
Reports from Commissioners on items of Commission interest.  
Commissioner Plurkowski made a motion for the commission to discuss the proposed changes to the  
petroleum refinery process safety management standards.

Plan next meeting agenda.  
The next meeting is currently scheduled for February 27, 2025 at 4:00 PM.
