Update on Community Corrections Partnership Meeting - November 7, 2025  
Discussion was held.  
Public comment was received.  
CAB Chair Nicole Green provided an update on the Community Corrections Partnership (CCP)  
meeting, where CAB presented its FY 2026-2027 recommendations. Regarding the  
recommendation to establish a stipend seat for CAB, the CCP requested additional research.  
They advised the County Administrator’s Office to explore the feasibility and encouraged CAB  
to research how other boards implement stipends, including potential partnerships. CCP also  
suggested that CAB review the County’s gift card policy as part of this effort.  
Discuss CAB Policy Recommendation FY 2026-2027.

CAB reviewed the FY 2026 2027 recommendations and discussed the topic of  
performance incentives. Members expressed interest in understanding what each  
county department, such as the District Attorney’s Office, Probation, and  
Behavioral Health, is doing to reduce recidivism and how AB 109 funds are being  
used across the system to support these efforts. CAB plans to research this topic  
further and revisit the discussion during the upcoming retreat.  
Discuss Ambassador Meeting and Outreach Updates.

CAB reviewed the outreach and meeting schedule for their Ambassador meetings,  
and members provided brief report-outs on their recent engagements. CAB  
expressed interest in continuing to review the Ambassador feedback reports to  
identify consistent themes, focus areas, or priorities to guide their work in the  
upcoming year.  
Discuss Community Advisory Board's Retreat Scheduling & Logistics.

CAB reviewed the CAB Retreat agenda and discussed logistics and scheduling for  
the 2026 Retreat. After reviewing availability, members agreed to hold the retreat  
on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. They suggested  
hosting the retreat at a Rubicon site in Antioch. CAB members will also assigned  
roles and responsibilities for the retreat.

Discuss Community Events and Outreach Presentations.  
Discussion was held.  
Public comment was received.  
CAB members shared updates on past and upcoming community events and outreach  
presentations. They also expressed interest in exploring additional opportunities to present  
their mission, goals, and priorities to the public to raise awareness about the CAB and its work.  
Additionally, they discussed strategies for recruitment and expanding engagement.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:50 a.m. by Nicole Green. The next scheduled meeting of the  
Committee is Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 10 a.m.
