-Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff - Lt. Charlene Jacquez provided an activity report and  
highlighted calls for service from last month. She also provided an update on the installation of 12  
new ALPR cameras installed in East County to combat illegal dumping and other criminal acts.  
-California Highway Patrol - No Report.  
- Contra Costa County Fire Protection District - Michelle Rinehart was present to provide an  
update on the Measure X funded Wildfire Mitigation Fund and the fact the grant funding her  
position is set to expire in July 2024 but a request for an extension has been made to continue  
through December 2024.  
- Office of Supervisor Burgis - Stephen Griswold introduced himself as the new staff POC for the  
Bethel Island MAC and provided a brief training on the Brown Act and basics for how to conduct an  
official meeting.

September 14, 2024 for the 2024 Bethel Island Community Clean-up in partnership  
with Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery. The motion carried by the following vote:

- Code Enforcement - Council Member Whitlock provided an update on Anchor Marina and Dutch  
Slough.  
- Bethel Island Chamber of Commerce - Lori Castillo provided an update that May 19, 2024 was  
concert in the park and a reminder about the upcoming Boats & Berries event.  
- Bethel Island Municipal Improvement District - No update.  
- Bethel Island Post Office - No update.  
- Ad Hoc Park Committee - No update.  
- San Joaquin Yacht Club - Vice-chair Allen update on opening day and the boat parade on April  
20, 2024 at 12 pm.  
- Scout Hall - No update.  
- Citizens' Fire Committee - No update.  
- Heart Safe Communities Program - Council Member Whitlock provided an update on the AED  
program as well as information on a local CPR training company charging $85 for certification  
training.  
- Emergency Preparedness Committee - Council Member Whitlock highlighted the Office of  
Emergency Services process of highlighting it's Local Hazard Mitigation Plan.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:48 PM.  
The next meeting is currently scheduled for May 14, 2024 at 6 PM.
