Stephanie spoke on the decision of the San Joaquin Joint Powers Authority to decommission or  
close the Pittsburg/Antioch Amtrak station, citing the hardship it would cause, particularly to  
communities of color;  
Kimberly Galindo, CC immigrant Rights Alliance, requested the Sheriff’s Department  
pharmacist cease collaborating with Immigration and Customs (ICE);  
Caller 0050 spoke of enthusiasm about the county's efforts to add youth centers in East and  
Central County to join the one in West County, noting the great need for afterschool and  
summer programs;  
Anthony, West Contra Costa, requested the Health Services Director provide a presentation on  
the rising number of Covid-19 cases in the County; and requested the new Animal Services  
Director review the need for an animal shelter in Pinole.
