November ’25
A. 467 Calls for Service: 4 Reports, 1 Felonies, 2 Misdemeanor, 1 Arrest
Felonies:
- Unknown suspects committed identity theft and credit card fraud. Victim
noticed fraudulent charges, and reported to financial institutions and police
quickly. Case forwarded to Investigations Division.
Misdemeanors:
- Hit & Run accident occurred on the corner of Deer Meadow Dr. and
Blackhawk Club Dr. Victim vehicle was unoccupied and parked when it was
struck causing moderate damage. No note was left or police notification was
made by the responsible party.
- DUI driver was arrested during a moving violation near the intersection of
Blackhawk Rd and Blackhawk Plaza Circle.
B. There was 1 arrest in November 2025, listed above.
C. Incident of Interest – No incidents of interest
D. Volunteers in Policing: 21 hours served by four volunteers. All
volunteers provided routine security checks and Vacation House
Checks/extra patrol, as well as supporting the donation collections.
December '25
A. 536 Calls for Service: 6 Reports, 1 Felony, 1 Misdemeanor, 2 Arrests
Felony:
- Victim’s bank noticed suspicious activity on the account. Victim
confirmed the action was forgery/fraud and the electronic transaction was
not completed. Possible suspect was identified and investigation was
forwarded to Detective’s division.
Misdemeanor:
A domestic disturbance that turned physical was reported at a residence. A
female was arrested and booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.
B. Two arrests occurred December 2025. One listed above (misdemeanor)
and the second was a warrant service as listed below.
C. Incident of Interest – 12/17/2025 Detectives from the Sheriff’s
Investigation Division served a warrant at a residence in the Hidden Oaks
Community resulting in the arrest of an adult male.
D. Volunteers in Policing: 15 hours served by four volunteers. All
volunteers provided routine security checks and Vacation House
Checks/extra patrol.
E. Items of interest:
- Beginning January 1, 2026 Vehicle Code 22651.08 allows police to
impound Class 3 E-Bikes when operated by someone under the age of 16.
Helmet Law is in effect if under 18 years of age. Parents can now be cited
for this violation.
- Beginning January 1, 2026 Vehicle Code 426.1 defines an “off-highway
electric motorcycle” (OHEM) which are strictly prohibited from operating
on public streets or roadways. Consequences include citations or possible
impounding of vehicles. BH streets and roads are considered public for
purposes of vehicle code enforcement (1985 County Resolution).
