The Subcommittee reviewed the work plan to ensure alignment with identified  
priorities. It will continue to include the work plan in future agendas to track  
progress toward established goals.  
Discuss Report on AB 109 Provider's Challenges

Subcommittee reviewed challenges faced by AB 109 providers and discussed  
strategies to support service providers working with the justice-impacted  
population.  
Discuss Site Visit Process

Public comment received  
Subcommittee discussed planning for site visits, including assigning members to  
specific sites, determining visit duration, and drafting key questions.  
Outreach and scheduling of site visits with AB 109 providers will begin, with  
updates to be shared at the next meeting. The goal is to complete all site visits by  
July 15.  
Office of Reentry & Justice will share additional site visit questions prepared by the  
previous Subcommittee Chair for review and inclusion in the shared document.  
Develop Questions for the In-Custody Survey Process

Subcommittee reviewed and discussed additional questions for Jody regarding the  
in-custody survey and explored the possibility of conducting focus groups within  
the jails.  
Jody will be invited to the next Subcommittee meeting.  
Questions will be finalized by June 13th and shared with Jody to support revisions  
to the upcoming in-custody survey.

Discuss Scheduling the June Meeting for the CAB Programs & Services Subcommittee  
Discussion was held  
Public comment received  
Subcommittee rescheduled its June meeting due to the holiday. After reviewing their schedule,  
the new meeting date was set for Thursday, June 26, 2025.

Invite Jody to the next Subcommittee meeting  
Invite the Reentry CORE team to present  
Finalize site visit questions  
Conduct outreach to schedule site visits  
Finalize in-custody survey questions and send them to Jody prior to the next meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 12:39 p.m. by Tiffany Anaya. The next scheduled meeting of  
the Subcommittee is Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 1 p.m.
