The committee discussed SB 239 and SB 707. Both would amend the Brown Act and are moving
through the legislative process.
The Committee discussed a future proposal to revise Older Adult education through public
health code to reinstate enrichment programs.

2:40 Web Development - CCC Website:
The County showed the Executive Committee mockups of improvements to the ACOA website.
ACOA should get hard copies for review sometime soon. Website should comply with Web
Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
3:00 Technology Work Group Handout - Artificial Intelligence and Older Adults:
The Committee discussed ideas for an infographic: Pros/Cons of AI, Google's AI Studio (which
takes you through screen tutorials), etc.

should speak when called upon by the chair. Those participating via Zoom should indicate they wish to
speak by using the “raise your hand” feature in the Zoom app. Those calling in should indicate they
wish to speak by pushing * 9 on their phone. All public comments will be limited to 2 minutes per
