The Subcommittee reviewed their work plan to ensure they are on track with their  
priorities and goals for the year.

The Subcommittee discussed stipends while reviewing the stipend toolkit, which  
outlines the purpose, eligibility criteria, tracking methods, and alternative  
incentives such as gift cards. They also discussed eligibility requirements tied to  
specific board seats and considered creating an emergency fund to help members  
overcome barriers to participation and attendance. Additionally, the Subcommittee  
raised questions about whether community members are required to report gift  
cards as additional income and recruitment.

Discuss CAB Budget Recommendations to the Community Corrections Partnership (CCP),  
Discussion was held.  
Public comment was received.  
The Subcommittee discussed the CAB Policy Recommendations to be presented to the  
Community Corrections Partnership (CCP) at the November meeting. They plan to include  
summaries from each Subcommittee highlighting their recent work and progress, as well as  
recommendations related to stipends to increase participation from individuals with lived  
experience.

The next meeting is currently scheduled for Monday, October 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

The meeting was adjourned at 12:15 p.m. by Justin Van Zerber. The next scheduled meeting  
of the Subcommittee is Thursday, October 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
